Ahh…gettin’ into a little rhythm here……

Today’s food

Breakfast

2 Wheat Waffles w/ country crock

2 coffee’s

Lunch

GNC Meal Replacement shake – Strawberry

Water all day long

Dinner

Wheat pasta w/ Olive oil and Grilled Cajun Shrimp (don’t forget some chopped garlic)

45 Mins of Cardio on the treadmill……mostly around 4mph…some interval running at 6.0 mph……

Make goals….try to have them manifest….

ooooh and no eating past 7PM!!! EVER (maybe even 6-6:30) LOOOL

OH…WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CANNOT DO SOMETHING, ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING TO CHANGE YOUR STATE. DONT JUST SIT THERE AND ACCEPT IT. THAT LITTLE VOICE IN YOUR HEAD ALWAYS SAYING “AHH ITS OK DO IT TOMORROW YOU’RE TOO TIRED” IS THE VERY PERSON YOU HAVE TO OVERCOME.

Ok, a lot going on these past few weeks had thrown a monkey wrench into the Fitness kick…but now that we are somewhat settled in….time to start getting back on the Grind….

Starting at 182 lbs….the goal is to get down to 170lbs to start.

Florida is right around the corner ( 1 week away) and also its the begining of summer and there is time to get in some kind of summer shape!

This week will start with 30 minutes of cardio (gym) and some basic strenght training. Walks around the river with Pamela also.

Also, the philly cheese steak, french fries, potato chips w/dip , liquor, beer and pizza diet will go out the window for the following…

- Grilled Chicken

- Wheat Carbs

- Fruits/Veggies

- Egg Whites

- Meal Replacement shakes

- Skim Dairy

- Water (lots of it)

BYe bye to the beer belly and love handles that have decided to try to take over this year……this is the begining of a lot of blogging on this topic and new transformation……

75 Simple Pleasures to Brighten Your Day

A little trick I like to use to make my days much more pleasant is to find little, simple pleasures and sprinkle them throughout my day.

They’re not big things, but they each simple pleasure can translate to a great day if you use them right.

So in the morning, I might have a cup of coffee, and sip it slowly to enjoy it fully. I might read a gripping novel, and revel in the world of fiction. I might watch the sun come up, and marvel at the world in pastel hues.

For breakfast, I might put berries on my cereal … and I just love berries. I savor each one, closing my eyes. In the shower, I might also close my eyes, and just let the cool water run over me (I live on a tropical island, so cool water is a nice thing).

You get the idea — these are little things, and don’t really cost a thing (or not much, anyway), but they are tremendously satisfying. I’ve just described some of the things I might do to start off my day, but the possibilities are endless, and can be done throughout the day.

I thought it would be fun to compile a list of simple pleasures, to give you all some ideas of what I mean, and to spark other ideas of your own. Of course, you can probably come up with a thousand more, and it should also be noted that one person’s pleasures aren’t always pleasures for others.

  1. Berries … mmmm.
  2. Walking barefoot in grass.
  3. Listening to good music in the car.
  4. Taking a long, relaxing shower.
  5. Coffee.
  6. A good novel.
  7. Popcorn and an old movie on DVD.
  8. The smell of fresh-cut grass.
  9. Watching the sunrise.
  10. Walking on the beach.
  11. A gentle morning run.
  12. Yoga or stretching or meditation.
  13. Snuggling in bed with your partner.
  14. Watching the sunset.
  15. Hugging your child tightly.
  16. Good wine. Chianti!
  17. Dark chocolate. (but only on cheat day & a small piece LOL)
  18. Dancing like you’re crazy.
  19. Telling jokes till your sides ache.
  20. A long conversation with a good friend.
  21. Root beer float.
  22. Kissing in the rain.
  23. Being lazy on a Sunday.
  24. Waking to a clean house.
  25. An uncluttered room.
  26. Banana split.

Govt. Money

What could possibly make a rainy cold Monday morning absolutely faannnnnnstastic you ask? MY BANK ACCOUNT SHOWING THE DIRECT DEPOSIT OF MY ECONOMIC TAX REBATE CHECK!!! So the question is what will you do with your stimulus (600 bucks woot) check? Lets see some things that went through my mind…..

1.) Cop those new J’s I been wanting?

2.) Get some Tixx to see the Yanks at the Stadium for their final year?

3.) Save it, big expenses coming up for the new apartment?

4.) Schedule a nice massage and bank the rest for #3

5.) SPLURGE, pickup that new PS3 I been wanting?

Life is full of choices….so tell me what do you think i should do and what will you be doing?????
